4-HO-MET Spray Bottle

4-HO-MET (4-Hydroxy-N-methyl-N-ethyltryptamine) is a substance of the Tryptamine class.

4-HO-MET is also known by different names. You might have heard it referred to as colour, methylcybin, and metocin. It was first synthesized by the American chemist Alexander Shulgin, who documented it in his 1997 book TiHKAL (“Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved”).

4-HO-MET is a synthetic indole alkaloid molecule of the tryptamine chemical class (Indole alkaloids are a class of alkaloids containing a structural moiety of indole, which is an aromatic heterocyclic organic compound). Tryptamines’ core structure comprises of a bicyclic indole heterocycle attached at R3 to an amino group via an ethyl side chain. (An ethyl group is an alkyl substituent derived from ethane.)

At R4, 4-HO-MET is stripped of its indole heterocycle for a hydroxyl functional group OH−.

4-HO-MET also contains a methyl group (an alkyl derived from methane, containing one carbon atom bonded to three hydrogen atoms), and an ethyl chain bound to the terminal amine RN.

4-HO-MET is the 4-hydroxyl analogue of the base tryptamine MET.

Storing Instructions: The best way to store this product and extend its shelf life is by keeping it in a fridge. However, storing your bottle in a cool and dark place away from direct sunlight is also okay.
