1P-LSD (1-propionyl-lysergic acid diethylamide) is a substance of the Lysergamide class. It is a derivative of ALD-52. It modifies a Lysergamides molecule by adding a propionyl group to the nitrogen molecule of LSD’s indole, making them structurally different to one another. (Propionyl consists of a carbonyl chain bound to an amino group.)
Like most research chemicals, there is no official documentation in the research literature prior to 2015 when the substance became available for purchase online.
1P-LSD is very similar to ALD-52. ALD-52 has an acetyl group bound to the nitrogen molecule instead of the propionyl group at the same location. 1P-LSD’s structure contains the polycyclic group with a bicyclic hexahydro indole bound to a bicyclic quinoline group. An N,N-diethyl carboxamide is bound at the carbon eight of the quinoline.
1P-LSD is one of the most popular and well-known Research Chemicals to this day! It has gotten a lot of attention from the Research Chemical community. Thanks to the synthesis of this compound, many other similar compounds have been discovered following the invention of 1P-LSD.
